Build 8 Is Out!

Hey everyone! The time has finally come!

Build 8 (or rather, 8.1) is out, featuring a new main story chapter complete with new backgrounds, new sprites, new music tracks, a new library sequence at the end, and even a new webcomic-like sequence! There's a lot of new stuff to enjoy, so do have fun reading through it! ^w^

...That said, even though we did add a ton of stuff, we feel like we could've added a little more in some places. We'll definitely be adding a few things to the new chapter in terms of art together with the next major build. However, don't let that stop you from playing through it right now! ^w^

Oh, and we also fixed the Patron name bug! Now inputting certain names in the "new name" choice will elicit cool reactions from Mary. Nothing game-changing, I assure you: it's just a fun easter egg for our Patrons to enjoy. If you wanna have one too, do consider subscribing to our Patreon or Ko-Fi!

The next update might come in a little later than usual, however. I need to start studying for my driving test, and I can't do that and work on the novel at the same time. I shouldn't be gone for long, however. The new build will still be ready by the end of next month, so hang on tight! TwT
