Build 4 Is Finally Out! (On Patreon/Ko-Fi)

Hello everyone! Long time no see!

As the title says, we just released the full fourth update to the game over on Ko-Fi and Patreon! We're still looking into improving it as much as possible in the coming days, but other than that it's more or less done. I'm so excited to share this update with you guys next Monday: it's by far the largest, most exciting build yet!

While it doesn't have any new action sequences, this update introduces two new main characters and one secondary character, as well as new music courtesy of both Eymon and the amazingly talented Lesli Chu!?! With this, the game now has almost no more CC-Free tracks in it, making it an entirely unique experience! I really love all the new tracks, and I'm sure you guys will too.

In addition, we worked on our very first YCH background for this update! I always envisioned NMF as a fully fleshed-out world, full of real people that live real lives in it... and with that, I mean you guys! This is basically just an extension of our cameo commissions, which we plan on reopening soon: instead of having character models that appear in specific cutscenes, you literally put your character in the background for everyone to see! In total, we added 7 wholly original characters to the game this way; and with just one background! I feel like this is the next step forward in fleshing out the world of NMF, and I'm positive that you guys will appreciate the detail and care that went into creating this piece. Here's to many more in the future!

Unfortunately, I also come bearing bad news: next month's build will be a Quality-Of-Life update that will introduce many features that we didn't have the time to add until now, such as a personalized UI (a Patreon reward that we never actually added), and adding more cameos to the game in order to flesh out some backgrounds (and start refilling our coffers, since we're barely in the green at present). This doesn't mean that there isn't going to be any new content added to the game, however: it's just not going to be the soon-to-be-highly-anticipated Chapter 5. I hope you understand.
