Build 2.1 Is Finally, FINALLY Out!!!

Hello everyone! It took two months to get here, but we've finally made it: the exciting new build of NMF is out and ready to be read and enjoyed by all of you amazing people! ^w^

You'll notice that the new build says "2.1": this is because we ran into an unexpected issue related to the webcomic scene when we first released 2.0 on Patreon at the beginning of the week, caused by the upgrade from Renpy 7.4.4 to 7.4.5: there was a bug that forced you all the way back to the dialogue preceding the webcomic scene if you tried to press the "back" button anywhere within the comic or immediately after it. Luckily, thanks to our Patreons and our dev team, we managed to solve this issue in a few days' time and now everything's cool again: that said, if anyone has any troubles with the webcomic, let us know!

That's not all we introduced in 2.1, though! We now also have a dynamic main menu background (and music theme!), which changes depending on where you are in the story. Because we just introduced it, when you start the new build you'll be faced with the "new" first main menu, which will persist indefinitely unless you start a new game and play until at least the end of the prologue. For that reason (and because we received some reports of this update breaking some old saves), I recommend to everyone to start a new game and get back to where they previously left off that way.

You've also likely noticed that we added a new thumbnail to Itch! To all of you who loved the old one (including us), don't be sad: this is only a temporary measure to ensure everybody knows that the new update just dropped. In a week's time, once the downloads begin stabilizing, we'll restore the old one without delay!

Oh, and one last thing: my Discord members suggested I make a feedback form for you guys to briefly tell me your thoughts on the VN so far. You can find it over here! I encourage you to compile it when you have time, (it only takes around a minute) but only after you've read through the whole VN so far: that way, you can answer the most truthfully to every question.
