I just finished playing the game, i loved all of it and i'm looking for more, keep up all the great work and passion for the project and i'm sure you'll make one of the best stories ever ❤️
Looks like NMF is ceased in development, last few patches haven't added much too I think just ... anyway don't take this negatively - I have enjoyed the game, will always have a place in my heart.
We're still working hard on the game, school and other stuff just got in the way. I wouldn't say the last few patches didn't add much either, Chapter 13 was quite literally the biggest we've worked on since the start of the game. We just haven't been very vocal in advertising progress on the new build outside of the Discord server, which is my fault, but again, I've been pretty busy these last few months. I'm hopeful we can release a new build early next month.
I don't usually read VNs, but this game just hooked me, and reeled me in to the point where Im actually sad it had to end.
But that's just it, isn't it? Everything ends, eventually. Which is why i tend to shy away from games that are still in development. I feel like im just setting myself up for dissapointment, and that I'll forget about it.
Not saying this is a bad game, no, it's spectacular! Which is why I'm leaving this. So I DONT forget about it.
I truly wish you the best with Uni, and the writing and development of NMF. I know I'll be here when the next update comes out. And the next, and the next after that.
I originally thought this would be an interactive novel, but even though it looks like a single threaded visual novel after reading all the existing chapters, it doesn't diminish my admiration for how great it is. Looking forward to the next update
Wow, I was already completely hooked, but these last two updates are just phenomenal. Truly the improvement in pacing, thematic resonance, and artistic expression is so so impressive.
NMF always makes me cry, and I love that, but now I'm so wonderfully beyond excited for what comes next.
Why? There may be some really bad guys acting in the shadows... We at least may be not a good guy but definitely not an enemy. An also the consequences if you do something nasty
I just finished the main story and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE it. I'm exited for more to the main story to come, also, do you have an estimated date for chapter 14? I know you said that your busy with stuff but if you don't have an estimated date, I don't main the wait (also can you add a way to reset saves if we complete the game?)
Unfortunately, there will not be an estimated date until I get back to working on the game regularly, which will take a while, what with another exam on the horizon. Once we've made significant progress, we'll post a devlog about it.
As for resetting saves, I don't really see the point. You can always start a new game from the main menu, and you can delete old saves or overwrite them. There's not much to reset the whole game over, save for the main menu image change and progress in the gallery.
This update left a few tears on my face... Even now there're not a lot of people with a such noble goal like to defy death for everyone. And her story... Oh. Poor Mary... Life was really rough on her, but she stood as a rock!
OMG this latest update hits hard. Love it. Especially the end there. Poor MC, I know what that was, but they clearly don't. I hope they didn't miss the opportunity.
When I last played NMF 3 years ago I think chapter 2 was barely out, and I loved the heck out of it. At the time I didn't trust Itch due to me having a lot of security issues so I didn't have an account, but I was falling HARD for this game and the story it was telling. Keep up the good work, I have ALOT to catch up on!
UPDATE: So uhh, I may or may not have gotten so invested I read through it at work as well. I just finished the story currently available, and let me just say in my own language: Den var så jævla god. Så god faktisk at jeg sa ifra til faren min (M50) og alle vennene mine.
I'm sorry there hasn't been a new update in a while. I'm still working on the script for the next main chapter, but my upcoming exam in early October takes priority. Once the update is ready, hopefully not too long after my exam, I'll be sure to update everyone on time.
I have to admit I was nervous about reading this VN I usually stay away from morbid novels, But now that I have i look forward to the next chapter it's been awhile since I've been so invested into an amazing story like this.
My excitement is palpable as I await the next chapter of this story!, I have always loved the art style and the story is a great read!, I have read a disturbing amount of vns and this one has to be somewhere in the top few!
